The mysterious chance visit of a raven is witness to a forlorn young lover's desperate search for reason and hope, following the tragic loss of his beloved.  Alchemy's rendition of Edgar Allan Poe's 1845 masterpiece, The Raven.

 A large, antiqued pewter raven-winged necklace with a Victorian-framed amethyst Swarovski crystal and black crystal dropper at the centre, flanked by a scroll bearing "1809 - 1849", the lifespan of Edgar Allan Poe, and surmounted by a small raven's skull.

The split necklace is formed with two, doubled 7mm black silk ribbons secured and adjusted by a black pewter slide fastener, giving anything from a choker up to a 34"/86 cm circumference
